Boys will be boys!

LOVE IT! Love those boys and LOVE watching them play together. This was definetly the best idea I have had in a long time. They entertained themselves for a really long time in this mess...and then Curtis helped me organize it when they were done...it was great!

Barber Shop

Mommy decided to play barber shop this week...trying to save a few bucks :) you know us! I think they all turned out pretty darn good for my first time...just don't look too closely! This is our "shop" and the boys before and after. Couldn't get blogger to put them in the right order but you can figure it out :)

Counts Family Vacation

Had a blast in Galveston with the Counts family a few weekends ago. We decided to take some pictures on the beach and they turned out absolutely gorgeous! Thanks so much Jessica for doing such a great job with these pictures. Here are some of my favorites from the weekend...and of course there are many more on our Picasa site. Oh and while there we decided that we are going to run a half marathon in Galveston in November! We are super excited and are enjoying our training already! More to come about that later.

ITS DONE!

We finished the floor two weeks ago and it looks absolutely amazing! I can not tell you how thrilled I am that it is DONE! Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen! We are so blessed to have you all! And of course a cute pictures of my boys just because :)

Dumpster Diving

Those of you who know us best know we LOVE good deals. Last night we got the best kind of deal...FREE! Our neighbors put this out on the curb so we gave it a new home (we asked them first of course). I bought those cubes at Target today for a few bucks each and voila! Love it!

We are starting to lay the laminate tomorrow :) pictures to come!

Progress and a HUGE mess

Here are some recent pictures of our house....

YIKES! We are ripping out the majority of our floors to replace them with a laminate wood (that arrived today Yahoo!) and of course we are doing it all ourselves (with the help of our fantastic family of course). Then on the 17th all of our bedrooms are getting new carpet. For now we are pulling up most of the carpet, removing tack strips, re-painting baseboards, touching up walls, leveling floors, moving furniture, oh and enjoying our two awesome boys. Super exciting and Super messy! I will post lots pictures along the way...now back to work!

Travel...again

This past week we have been in Albuqueque, NM again. We always love tagging along with Daddy on buisness trips and Curtis and I were excited to make the trip for the first time with Nicholas. We had a great time this week and ran all over town finding fun things to do while Jacob was at work. We did the zoo, tons of local parks, IT'Z, aquarium, botanical park, and lots and lots of restaurants. The best part of the trip by far was watching our boys enjoy one another. They have really started to play recently and make each other laugh constantly. This is the life! We head home today (Curtis, Nicholas, and I) so that Jacob can work like crazy for the next week and then we will meet up at home for about an hour before we head to Corpus Christi for the Schwartz family annual summer vacation...yeah!
