Speaking of Big...

As we planned our annual Halloween driveway cookout I couldn't help but get sentimental that last year we looked like this...

And now we look like this...

Couldn't be more thankful for the addition of sweet Nicholas this year. He has changed us all for the better! Curtis is an amazing big boy and takes wonderful care of his little brother. It has been such a joy watching him develop into the "big brother" roll. Jacob and I have of course had to change also as we became the parents of two bustling boys. We are so blessed! Have a wonderful Halloween everyone!

Big Boy, Little Boy

One of my absolute favorite things about being a mom of two boys is putting Nicholas in Curtis's old clothes and it opens the flood gates to my memory. I vividly remember how adorable Curtis was when we took him to zoo boo in this pumpkin outfit. I remember how he peed through it very shortly after we took this picture. I am still amazed at how similar they look...anyone else think so? Tons of things going on around here hope to post more soon...I have a GORGEOUS new neice I am dying to share. I promise to do that sometime this century :)
